The world of computers, the world of machines, the world of blocks, the world of malls, the world of intermittent communications through receivers, through “posts,” the world of advertising, mass media, supermarkets, the virtual world and the one of industrial products – is a world without painting.

Painting involves quietness, nature, direct contact, contemplation, spontaneity. Painting (I have the impression that I’m going to contradict many people) is not any coat, it’s not paint, nor “digital art.” And because it can not be “on the computer” it does not mean that it is meant to disappear, as man is not finished because he can not become a robot; it would be exactly the opposite.

I do not contest the subjectivity of interpretations or options. But I say objectivity also exists to the same extent; they are complementary aspects, just like introversion and extraversion.

I do not know even about music, for example, such a claim that everyone can understand/ feel it, how I learned about painting – painting seems to be the simplest thing in the world. We still know that the hip hop or pop tzop noise does not compare to the Enescu Festival concerts, although they are called both with the same word: “music”. Instead, paintings from top collections or contemporary galleries may be some perplexing nothingnesses. Because: painting is the simplest thing in the world. And this simplicity is missing.
